February 5, 2020Swarmers are back!
April 24, 2020Inviting someone into your home can be a little intimidating. We know that you only want someone who is professional, clean, trustworthy, and an expert in their field to be on your property and in your house. That’s why we make sure that all of our termite and pest inspectors are licensed, highly trained, and respectful of your space. Every Chem Free Exterminating employee has the same goal – to treat your home for termites and to leave your home even better than they found it!
Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions to help give you peace of mind:
Who will be coming to my door?
Every inspector (and every member of our team for that matter) arrives in a marked company vehicle with a uniform, ready to work. They are all licensed and bonded and have been fully trained to perform any pest or termite control and treatment services. How long does a termite inspection take? Typically, the average termite inspection procedure takes between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the size and condition of your property.
How much does a termite inspection cost?
In California, same as in other states, house sellers will need to cover the termite inspection costs. The fee is ranging from $75 and $150, depending on the size of your property. However, if you are not selling or refinancing your home, Chem Free Exterminating will offer the inspection free of charge! (If you are selling or refinancing your house, please contact our office for more details. There is a minimal fee – however that cost is always put towards the price of any work that needs to be done.)
When can my termite inspection be scheduled?
We offer appointment times Monday to Friday, and we always give you a call when we are 30 minutes away so that you (or a friend or neighbor) can meet us at the property.
When will I get my estimate?
While our highly experienced inspector is on site, you are welcome to ask any questions that you have to get more information about our termite removal services and what your specific home requires. From there, our office will type up a detailed termite inspection report – filled with information about your house, any necessary treatments, and next steps, as well as pricing and warranty details. The Structural Pest Control (SPC) Report, officially known as "Wood Destroying Pest and Organisms Inspection Report", will be emailed to you usually within 1 business day after your initial inspection.
Who needs a termite inspection?
If you are seeing any evidence of termite infestation in your home, then it’s time! If your home has not been looked at by a professional termite company in the past 5 years, then it’s time! If you recently purchased a home and did not have termites taken care of, then… you guessed it… it’s time!!
Now that you have the information, what’s stopping you? Contact Chem Free Exterminating specialists today to schedule your free termite inspection – you’ll be glad you did!
